Penrose, Auckland
In early 2018, UPC Group was engaged by RLB Packaging to design and build their new Auckland based headquarters comprising 2,200m of high stud warehousing and 400m of office, in the heart of Penrose. UPC worked with RLB to ensure we incorporated their specific needs which included high-stud warehousing to accommodate a large racking requirement, a safe and efficient inwards and outwards goods access for large B-train trucks and a strong focus on creating a friendly work environment where they were able to entertain and hold functions for their clients and staff. Through the design process, both parties worked closely together and designed a building meeting all of these requirements providing RLB with a facility that also gave them the longevity they were looking for.
UPC Group is a long-term holder of all of their development assets and therefore, has a strong focus on ensuring the product meets all the requirements of the incoming occupant. Both parties have a vested interest in the end product and maintaining the relationship meaning UPC will always strive to deliver a product of the highest quality whilst ensuring the process is an efficient one.
